Bye bye Deustchland

In 15 Stunden, bin ich wieder nach Hause zu fliegen.
In 15 hours, I am flying back to home

Ich werde Deutschland vermissen.
I will miss Germany.

I will miss Erlangen.

It was the hardest day of my life in Germany.
Today I went person to person in my lab, my friends, my classmates, my teachers, my floor mates to say Goodbye.
I don't know what to say except thank you for making my life in Germany awesome and giving me so many precious memories.
I said, the Germany stay was way more fantastic than I have imagined.

I still remember before I came I had all these bad expectations, what if Germans are really rude and bad? What if my life here is so miserable that I had such a terrible homesick? What if the people I meet here sucks? What if the food sucks? What if Germany sucks?

And today, after 5 months and a week living in Germany, I shall say out loud I am definitely dumb and naive to have all those imaginations about Germany as none of them are valid.
Germans are the best people I have met, and Germany is really awesome.
And all the people I have met are really amazing.

Words couldn't express how much I love you guys and how much I appreciate everything that all of you had done for me. I am sure we will meet each other again in the future.

And today I learnt, the hardest thing to say isn't I Love you or Sorry

but

GoodBye.

Another trip to Nürnberg

I went to Nürnberg again 2 days after the previous trip :P
(If you wonder why sometimes I type Nuremberg and sometimes it's Nürnberg, it's because Nuremberg is the name in English while Nürnberg is the name in German)
For shopping, only shopping and eating.
I know, I am crazy, it was like my last days of holidays so I just desperately wanted to go somewhere. And well, I am going to Nürnberg again this Saturday, but it is an excursion :) So hopefully I get to know more of Nuremberg from it's historical and geographical sides, instead of just where to eat and shop! (Well, that's what locals are, haha acting local now)

Ok back to that Saturday morning, there is a Lebküchen(Gingercake) Market. Nürnberg is famous for it's Lebküchen and Weihnachtsmarkt (Christmas Market). So they always have this gingercake market.

Well, I didn't buy any as I am not that big fan of Ginger, and cakes.

When there is no pictures, that means that both of us were really busy shopping.
..
..
..
..

And finally we got really hungry and decided to hunt for something around the market.
We had some crepes, it was super yummy!
Smelled something real good from far, and realised it was this >>

Fried champignons! How awesome is that! Crispy on the outside, juicy inside.

Chun got her fish sandwich, some raw fish marinated with salt and some sweet sauce inside, it was yummy :)

But I am really not that connvinced with their sashimii, it looked like it is going bad any moment you start to eat them.

After some salty bits, I got myself a string of grapes coated in milk chocolate :) They are not as yummy as I have thought, but well it was still yummy.

Vain vain vain, just to show S babe my new boots :) and that's my Zara knit.

Well, and there was this weird old men choir, like sailors. Standing there listening for like 1 minute and left. Old men are not for me, I only want cute guys :P

Lotsa things to share about my experience in labs. I shall update sometime soon :)

Tshüss!

Happy Halloween!

Trick or treat??

I went to my 1st Halloween Party ever yesterday in my dorm, since I live in the party dorm, there is no reason why I should miss this awesome event right!

I had been thinking of a lot alot of costumes and try to shop for some little devil costumes (yeah I wana be slutty) but I don't find any, so at last I have decided that I shall just go with my lab coat and act like a mad scientist or whatever.

Eliza and I bought a tube of fake blood and it looks really real!! Of course, with my superb skills of making fake wounds!! So fake wounds are pretty much easy to make, just buy a tube of fake blood, and stick it with some tissue paper on to the place where you want your wound to be, add some liquid black eyeliner onto some spots of the tissue paper, and now it looks real! But the only advantages is by the end of the night the tissue paper gets quite dry and it will kinda peel off or crack. But it still gives u a very good effect though :)

Dead Ballerina in act! We were trying to make up stories for how we die,and she wants to die of a gun shot, haha. And she sew her own too-too!! How amazing is that?

My room became the room where everyone put their fake blood on.

This is what I was planning to wear before my floormate lend her costume to me.

I zombied her up!! Make up and the wound :) Satisfied with my own work!! Wished we had lips concealer, it will look better!

And that's me!!The Zombie Nun!! Had some blood tears and a wound beside my mouth.
Well I think everyone still wants to be pretty even for Halloween but I think I made myself scary more than pretty!! But I am happy because I won't have a chance to wear this in real life, and it's only for Halloween you don't get people staring at you when you walk on the streets!

The Joker approached me and said " Why don't you smile?", it was so eerie! And I replied "Amen" LOL. We are both very into our characters.

A nun becoming a reaper while a witch is drinking beer, and I have no idea why the camera man looks so happy, haha.

It was really hard for me to talk and laugh as the fake wound dried up. And I was struggling with my expression when I take photos because I don't know whether I should just look scary all the time or what.

But finally I succeeded to smile a little bit,it doesn't look that bad does it? It feels like now I am just a nun working overtime and injured my face..

But if I don't smile, you better not try me.

Groupie pic. The doctor zombie, the nun zombie, the emo kid, the vampire and the witch.

The Japanese babes dressed up cute as always.

And I think this nun has smooth skin. HAHAHAH. I think the powder + the potrait mode of my camera makes this magic.

This is the only time that I don't need to correct the red eyes of my pictures. I am glad, we should take more Halloween pics. Free red contacts :P

The sexy vampire, and I am sure every men is willing to get bitten by her.

No idea what we were trying to express.Nun with becks and cross with a constipated look? Perhaps.

Yeah and I like the green lights effect.

I am now a nun of the witchery society.Gosh, having a witch hat is way better than the nun's headscarf. At least it makes my face looks pointy rather than "M-E-A-T-Y"( although that was a fact)

Trying to curse the vampire.

Dearest Azusa and Fabio.

Meet my party-goers.

It was reeeeeally crowded yesterday night, we were being squeezed, squished and banged while we were on the dance floor. Especially when those people got drunk and started jumping. How does it look like when a nun dances on the dancefloor?

I will leave that to your imagination.

Happy Halloween!

Some last minute craziness before the uni starts

So this was my exciting YESTERDAY. I went to Nürnberg finally after a month + here. That was not a very good thing, because Nürnberg is probably a lot more nicer than Erlangen, in terms of the old buildings and shoppings!!!!!!!!Yee chun and I even got free train tickets because I met a staff from a Restaurant, which the boss is a Malaysian (therefore he calls me to pick up free food whenever he cook something good :P) and he said he would lend me his Mobicard. Good, we were lucky! Head off to Nürnberg at 10am and started out shopping spreeee!

Well I haven't really visited the old historical places of Nürnberg, and I totally have no intention to do that, I just can't wait to do shopping!! (Like I have lotsa money to shop @@) But anyway window shopping is satisfying too! But the weather wasn't really good, it was -1 degrees :(

Went pass the city wall. And spot the red ROXY ear muffs from my dearest S babe!!

And the church

We basically walked around 2 streets but it took us for a whole day already! We went into every shop, browse around the stuffs, comparing prices. But well we were not too prepared to spend a lot of money and we didn't really see a lot of things that we really like, but still we enjoyed the window shopping.

Tried on this blouse in MNG and I quite like it but it costs 40 Euros! And I think it would cost much lesser in Spain because Chun peeled of the sticker of one of the shirt and the price below was like 25% less! How unfair is that, we were still in Europe!!Probably Malaysia is even cheaper.

Disappointed in MANGO but ZARA rocks! It was way cheaper and the quality was good. And it has only one price :P I bought two basic knitwears and they were kinda thick. Well I bought them after walking two whole streets comparing the other knitwears from all other brands, or some unknown brand and found out that ZARA has the most reasonable price. So I walked all the way back to ZARA. Hee, I am a wise consumer. They costs 14.90Euros each and that is the price for a ZARA T-shirt in Malaysia. I am in love with ZARA now. :)

Came home early as I had a Welcoming Party back in my dorm. But we are going to Nürnberg again for sure!!I was pretty tired and wasn't really keen for the party but my beloved floormates made the night really awesome. We had an ALEX-Rally which is some game where there are around 40 questions and you have to go to each floor to ask for answers. Of course, by then you will have to drink some alcohols that they prepared.

So, we have 5 floors each on the eastern and western wing, which means we have to drink 10 glasses EACH. So we ran like crazy, drank like crazy, and answered like crazy. I drank like 7 glasses in one or two hours and at the end I was really dizzy and I kept hugging my friends :P
But well we answered those questions in a very creative way ;)

Anna and I outside my door

Darja and I, well I was pretty drunk by then.

Just to show you that Anna has got her dentist to embed a little diamond on her tooth! Which lasted for 2+ years until now. If someday it wasn't there anymore, she must have swallowed it. That's cool, I haven't seen anyone had their tooth embedded, Ok well except my great grandma that has a golden tooth.

My bellas on the dancefloor @ Alex'sbar while waiting for the rally results :)

Meine mitbewohnerinen. My lovely floormates. Anna was hugging me in a way that made me feel like I was pregnant. hahaha. Ich bin nicht schwanger!

Ulli and I. Ein sehr nett Mädchen. A very nice girl :)

Tadaa the result was out and we won!!!!!!!!!!!
Good job team mates!

Just know the words, KOSTENLOS TRINKEN!
Means DRINK FREEE!
Yeppie, seems like I have another drunk date with my bellas.

This was my very very good day & good night ;)

2nd week in Erlangen

Its officially a week and a half in Erlangen, and I am starting to like this place.
I love the new friends that I know, love the nice little european feel buildings, also loving my imperfect dorm :) Everything is so far so good!

I got a rice cooker finally!! Its the display unit and I got 2 Euros discount after bargaining! LOL I know that is not very much but at least better than none right!

I have travelled to Rothenburg with the language course mates and luckily I get to know a few new friends, especially Heidi and Yee-chun whom I could say is closest to me now. Heidi always ride me in her bike and we were wondering if that is legal until today we were being told off by a police!! SO, God bless me to get a nice and cheap bike during the flee market this sunday! I seriously neeeed a bike!

Rothenburg, this scene is all over the travel books so we have to take a pic in front of it!

Nice little square in front of the city hall and mayor tavern.

Heidi was so into teddy bear and she kinda influenced me! This is the original Steiff teddy bear and the teddies are very very expensive!

What I have been learning in the language class is still very limited thus I couldn't have conversation with the people here, well not if they are speaking english. Its pretty impressive that you see everyone speaking in Deutsch although they were all of different nations. SO I wana try my best to learn as much and speak like a Deutsch!

The coursemates after class activity in Schlossgarten, a very beautiful garden among the uni buildings. They sing, they drink and they shisha-ed. And I did neither of them. LOL. "Aku anak timur"

-Heute-

While we were waiting for Eliza in front of the bank. Seth with the pretty flowers :)

And me with the very tourist pose!

After class, Heidi, yc and I went to the Bahnhof to get our train tickets to Munich tommorow. They have so many different tickets and I feel lucky not being the one buying it.YES I AM GOING TO THE OKTOBERFEST TOMMOROW! Lucky me getting here just in time to witness the biggest festival in Germany :) and lucky me living in Bavaria which we can buy the Bayern ticket and share among ourselves which cost us less than 10 Euros per person!

Then we meet up with some Japanese friends to head for ice creams! Well I "performed" my Japanese and they all laughed so hard at all the useless and dirty Japanese. OPPS.

Maiko-chan. They don't speak much english and I don't speak much Jap and can't speak Deutsch yet, so we kinda communicate rather weirdly. haha. OK I need to learn Japanese and Deustch.

Yee chun, Ritchie and Heidi (the ice cream freak).

I think I look really kampung-ish. haha. me likey.
Seriously need more clothes and some people to boost up my fashion conscience.

And finally my 1st clothes shopping in Germany :)
I love H&M! Its something like Zara and MNG but its a little bit cheaper I guess?
Dunno.

Anyway thats my little update this week,
Ich mag Deutschland <3
