Campus East International Food Fair 2009!

YES, here comes the big annual event for CE,
a yummm one...
Last year's IFF
Although we only have a few Malaysians in CE,
we had decided to make lotsa stuffs,
of course with the help of other Malaysians off campus.
They are hell good in cooking!!

Our Menu this year:
Bubur Cha Cha
Curry Puffs
Cucur Udang
Peanut Cookies
Bak Kwa

Well, all of you back home are very very lucky to have all this yummy delicacies,
where you can easily get from basically anywhere!

Poor us overseas students,
missing food from home terribily.

But lucky us gonna make them ourselves!!
I "O-ed" my mouth when I saw the menu,
I was like what?!!!
Bak Kwa also can make?!!

Actually all those are easy to make!
Just tell me if you want recipe kays?
=)

OK lets start with Saturday,
We met at 1pm for our prep work to start.
I slept at 3am the night before and my dear S babe called me at 9 in the morning
lovely.
hahas...she said she is having serious M pain,
she couldnt come....
so sad.
I don't want her to miss the fun!
Anyway take care babe ok.
Perhaps anyone has M pain solution to recommend to her.

Starting off by making peanut cookies,
I made a MALAYSIA from that,
which looks...eh hmm..

Running around, attempt to fry the curry puffs fillings for a little while.
They didnt get the A1 curry paste for us.
End up using some Indian curry powder,
which doesnt taste that good.

Now you see how Bak Kwa is made.

Well there are heaps of photos,
in fact we took 250 photos!
But I am seriously LAZZZZYYY to upload them all.
Uploading all these took me like 4 hours already.!

He is my course mate.
I have never spoken to him before.
And he sent me a request on Fb saying
"Hello Jo, I am the legendary student of CE and UOW, I see you in chem everytime"
How narcisst could he be?

Then we decided to go to the computer lab to do some work.

My camtitude is back!

I did manicure!

Was quite boring on Sunday as I finished my reports,
I decided to bling my nails.
It has been ages since I have touched them,
so I went across the hallway and sneak into steph's room,
giving her an angelic smile

"Steph.....I wana do manicure"
"Take yourselve lah"

heeee, that's the answer I am longing to hear..
I bought some blingies lastime,
they are all of different colours but same size,
so I am getting some of steph's to match with them.
see, that's the awesomeness to stay with fashionable roomies.
THEY HAVE EVERYTHING.

So I paint, remove, replace, paint, stick, dry
and finally they are done!

I snapped my right hand without flash so they came out to be very blur,
so, no right hand!

And guess what, the bling blings kept falling off whenever I do chores or shower!
Grr, and I have to replace them a zillion times..
I wonder how people can ever survive with their perfect manicure!
Seems like Jo needs some practice.

I woke up reluctantly this morning,
seriously that's the worse thing in the world,
being awaken by the annoying alarm, but knowing you can't sleep anymore cause
YOU HAVE CLASS!

Whenever I have to wake up at 7 I don't bother to dress up or make up.
Its a good thing because grabbing any piece from the closet saves you time
and let you camwhore!
(As I realised I still have 5 minutes before walking to the bus stop, I started camwhoring)


No dressing up, no make up (well except for the eyebrow)

Well, it has been ages since I camwhored!
Like so so so long ago...
perhaps a few days?

YES!MY CAMTITUDE IS BACK.
I love this word,
I don't know if anyone has used this before,
it justs popped in my mind suddenly.

And I wore my "long-time-no-wear" ballerina shoes to uni,
which is a VERY BAD IDEA.

Yes the front part is gone after once or twice wearing them,
so I just tore off the other side and wear them like that!
haha. Its a waste to throw them away when you have just worn them twice right?!

My feet got so SORE from these shoes!
Despite the not very comfortable sole which makes me feel like walking barefoot,
the heel part is killing me.
The friction between my skin and the shoes...
ARGH!!
FYI, I even put plaster on my heels before wearing them,
and they still got so sore!

How come?!! Aren't ballerina shoes suppose to be comfortable and make you walk gracefully,
Like a ballerina???
How come my shoes make me walk like somekind of crippled old woman?

Gosh, I miss my real ballerina shoes.

I still remember the days when I were on point,
when my toe nails just came off like that,
when I used to sprain my ankle right before the exam,
resulting me taking painkillers for the exams,
the pair of point shoes, they weren't this discomforting!

Opps, don't misunderstand,
I don't walk gracefully like a ballerina,
I even hunch back!
And I don't get really good results for the exams,
in fact, none of me look like a ballerina AT ALL,
except those muscular calves,
and the once used to be muscular thighs which now turned into flappy flesh.
I wonder why the 10 years of ballet lessons never turn me into a gracefully lady
with admirable figures, long legs and perfect posture?

I have always wanted to take a studio shoot as a ballerina
cause it looks cool,
hehe...
but i don't have a too-too...
hmm..perhaps someday when I could manage to borrow them I should try out =)

Enough of my crap today...
I had a really long day 8.30am-8.30pm!
and I only had instant noodles for dinner =(

The Casino Royale Ball

It was ages go since the Casino Royale Ball and yet I am only blogging it now.
I have been toooo BUSY writing up 3 of my reports which are due next week.
Next Thurs and Fri, but why am I rushing them through this Fri & Sat?
No idea, just being motivated to finish them all!

Mourning over the finished Twilight Saga

Yes
I finished it.
After spending the whole day reading non stop on Saturday,
and additional few hours today and yesterday,
I finished it.

I reluctantly finished it,
knowing that I would not know what's Edward doing anymore.
(please ignore my insanity)

I can't believe myself actually finishing it!

BECAUSE THERE CAN'T BE POSSIBLY ANY VAMPIRE BOOK THAT IS BETTER THAN TWILIGHT.

I even dreamt of the scene in Breaking Dawn last night.
haha, I am going insanely crazy about it.

I am planning to buy the hard cover box set when I return home.
and hopefully I will have time to reread them.

Girls Day Out

Went to Sydney last Saturday with my babes, hoping to get a dress for the ball.
BUT WE CAME BACK EMPTY HANDED.

How dissapointing!!

I am kinda lazy to blog,
so imagine the stories yourselves.
haha.

Yuko brought us to a nice Korean restaurant =)

We love the seat, luxurious!

Then we came across this section in MYER with a lot of hair accessories,
and everyone starts to play with them.

I actually like this, its really warm and comfy.
will be useful in Germany.
but its freaking 40 bucks =.=!!

So we RAN all the way to central, like 10 minutes,
and everyone got real wet.
